2G/3G/LTE module installation, software updating and commissioning, site integration and call testing.

-Lead field tech for T-Mobile UMTS projects including new site builds, HSPA upgrades, 2^nd and 3^rd carrier upgrades with software upgrade, site commissioning, call testing and E911 testing. Installation and replacement of UMTS hardware such as FSME system and extension modules, FRIA and FRIE RF modules, and power modules with FPAA rectifiers and FPBA battery backup. Proficient in running and terminating AC/DC module power, module grounding and fiber cabling.   

 

 

-Lead field tech for Hauwei/Cricket project in Chicago market. Installed, integrated and call tested sites for early 2009 Cricket launch date. Upon installation of site, took post site pictures of T-1 wire connected to cabinet and wire wrapped to DSX panel, cabinet A/C power and grounds, internal cabinet cabling and GPS connections. Assisted Cricket switch room with the integration, software download to site. Once site was installed and integrated, call tested from all sectors (3 or 6), and reported to Cricket switch.

Site Auditor

-UMTS project site auditor for the Chicago land and NW Indiana area. Checking Flexi (UMTS) sites for correct civil construction, unit installation and support, cabling and punch list items. Meeting and instructing civil and antenna crews on site, as it pertains to site specs, Flexi relation to the BTS units and overall site appearance. Taking site pictures and attaching files that are e-mailed to project managers for review and submission for site completion approval.
